ITINERARY

Day 1: ARRIVAL AND EVENING CITY TOUR OF BEIJING
Arrive at Beijing international airport check into your hotel and overnight at your hotel. Enjoy an evening city tour of the famous city Beijing (formerly called Peking, Beiping, Dadu, Jingcheng, and Yanjing in different periods of Chinese history) is the capital city of the People's Republic of China. It is also the nation's political and cultural hub as well as the focal point for the country's transportation, scientific and technological development, education and communication. The city's grid pattern and original walls were first laid down in the 13th century when it was called Khanbalik, the capital city of the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Day 2: TIANANMEN SQUARE, OLYMPIC STADIUM AND BEIHAI PARK
After an early morning breakfast at 0700am proceed for the forbidden city tour which is a full day tour lunch will be serve at a local restaurant as well as dinner return to the hotel at 2100rs. Tiananmen Square is the geographical center of Beijing City and the largest city square in the world accommodating 1,000,000 people at one time with beautiful flowers and the red national flag which flutters in the wind. The raising of the national flag is something which should not be missed by visitors to Tiananmen Square.
BEIHAI PARK TOUR

A guide to the 1,000 year history of BeiHai Park and its main elements. The imperial court of the Liao Dynasty built a secondary palace on the site of the present Beihai Park (YaoYu) in the 10th century. When the Jin came to power, they renamed the capital ZhongDu ('Central Capital'). Rocks used for building the hill on the island were brought in from KaiFeng in Henan Province. Around the lake and on the island, palatial halls, corridors and pavilions were erected. In 1179, a Jin Dynasty emperor declared the BeiHai Park to be an imperial garden.

At 0930am after your breakfast, proceed for the Forbidden City where twenty-four emperors reigned over the country for over 500 years and was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The Forbidden City, commonly called named the Palace Museum, shares the honor of being one of five world-famous palaces with the Palace of Versailles in France, Buckingham Palace in England, the White House in the U.S. and the Kremlin in Russia. The palace, the most magnificent and splendid palace complex in China, was listed as a World Cultural Heritage Building in 1987. Day 4: AT LEISURE AND SHOPPING
Wake up at leisure and have your breakfast and head for shopping at major shopping malls with the assistance of the tour guide. A Chinese saying goes that He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man. China's Great Wall is the world's longest architectural structure and is widely renowned as one of the seven great wonders of the world. It stretches 6,700 kilometers (4,163 miles) from the Jiayuguan Pass in Gansu Province to the Shanhaiguan Pass in Hebei Province. Like a gigantic dragon, this imposing wall meanders across mountains, spans vast plains and trudges through the barren deserts of China's northern interior. Day 6: AT LEISURE AND SHOPPING

Day 7: TOUR THE TEMPLE OF HEAVEN (HALF DAY)

After an early morning breakfast from your hotel proceed for the temple of heaven tour. From the 1st to 5th day of the Chinese Lunar New Year (Jan. 23 to 27, 2012), Temple of Heaven Culture Week will be held at Tiantan Park. A total of 320 Performers always act as the emperors, guards, officials, dancers and musicians and show visitors the solemn ancient worshipping ceremonies to the heaven. The Temple of Heaven (also Tiantan Park) is the biggest cult architecture complex in the world and a masterpiece of the Chinese people created in ancient times, covering 667 acres and is nearly four times the area of the Forbidden City. Emperors of the two dynasties used to worship the heaven and pray for rich harvests, as the feudal emperors thought they were the son of the heaven. Day 8: SUMMER PALACE FULL DAY TOUR 40KM DISTANCE TO RETURN TO THE HOTEL

Day 9: HUTONG TOUR (HALF DAY)

Depart from your hotel after breakfast in the midday hours of the day and head for the Hutong tour where you will experience the different greater understanding of the common people as well as the history of the ancient yet modern Beijing. Hutongs are in fact, alleys or lanes that exist only in Beijing. The origins of the word 'Hutong' is still under discussion, but it is generally believed that the word came from the Mongolian meaning of 'a well', for long ago, when there was a well, there were also residents nearby. The hutongs came into existence in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) when Kublai Khan (first emperor of the Yuan Dynasty) founded Beijing as the capital. In the residential area, all closed courtyards were built in a neat layout, and the lanes served the purpose of going around. DAY 1: ARRIVE IN SHANGHAI AND AFTERNOON AT LEISURE
Arrive in Shanghai and check in at your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure Diner and Overnights. Shanghai is the country's biggest city and a global financial hub, whose heart is the Bund, is lined with colonial-era buildings and boasts a city proper population of 24 million people as of 2014 and is continually on the rise. The Best Times to Visit Shanghai are the Middle Seasons (spring with confortable weather and autumn where the weather is generally sunny and drier), which offer mild temperatures and cleaner air. DAY 2: SHANGHAI MUSEUM AND YU GARDEN.
After your breakfast at 0730am, proceed to the Shanghai Museum which is of ancient Chinese art, situated on the People's Square in the Huangpu District China, which is the modern museum, with a round top and a square base which symbolizing the ancient Chinese perception of the world as "round sky square earth". Head for the Yu Garden, the shining star among all the ancient Chinese gardens in Jiangnan fully embodies the traditional design of Chinese architecture with jagged pavilions with elegant decorations and glittering pools with roving fish. Yu Garden or Yuyuan Garden is an extensive Chinese garden located beside the City God Temple in the northeast of the Old City of Shanghai, China, believed to have been built in the Ming Dynasty, more than 400 years ago. The artistic style of the garden architecture, the Sculptures and Carvings all makes the garden one of the highlights of Shanghai that one can’t miss seeing. DAY 3: SHANGHAI CITY TOUR AND JADE BUDDHA TEMPLE

Visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center to answer your questions why Shanghai is a modern city while also giving you an overview of the City’s ambitious plans for future. The Center is a fashionably designed modern museum, themed with “City, Citizens, Environment and Development”. DAY 5: THE BUND, HUANGPU RIVER NIGHT CRUISE AND ENTERTAINMENT

It is on the west bank of Huangpu River from the Waibaidu Bridge to Nanpu Bridge and winds 1500 meters (0.93 mile) in length. Feel the perfect fusion of Chinese and Western cultures. After breakfast, an hour’s drive will take you away from the city’s hustle and bustle and you’ll visit Zhujiajiao Ancient Town which is known as the “Venice of Shanghai”. Zhujiajiao has a history of 1,700 years and is a well-preserved waterside ancient town. Stroll along Hundred-year-old North Street, take some awesome pictures on the Fangsheng Bridge, have a panoramic view of Zhujiao by climbing up to Yuanjin Buddhist Temple, enjoy some leisure time on the traditionally decorated boat, cruise along the canals and see the old residences, shops and bridges which are filled with classic architectural style in Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 AD - 1911 AD). DAY 9: SHANGHAI CITY TOUR AND ENTERTAINMENT
